Whose idea was it to play that awful remix of the Cranberries Zombie before games? Yes I know it’s because of the Nunez chant but If you going to play the song then put on the original rather than this commercial dance version. It’s about the Warrington bombings so why try to make the song uplifting?
Singing that In Your Head chant was brilliant against Norwich, as it made perfect sense, but it doesn't quite work in the same way when playing eg Stoke. Zombie by Cranberries is a song I hate. Please don't play it in any form. Agree with Sitters point about the naff remixes in general, with a number of remixes appearing pre game recently, in all cases watering down a tune that was already just grand.
It's not that remixes in general are a problem, but these are really unimaginative house remixes that do nothing interesting with the material.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun.
I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.
Right here, right now, extended version for ages and ages. Awful. Let’s mix ( or not lol) it up a bit with different songs. I don’t want the mindless tunes every pre game build up

Breathe by the Prodigy however is perfect before the game. Nasty, intense and unwelcoming! A banger.

My daughter and I were talking about this last week. The next morning I put a 4/4 beat over Radioheads Creep to show her how naff it sounds trying to liven up a downbeat song.

You hate Zombie? Honestly. I thought we were friends.
I had a real aversion to that warbly vocal delivery that was everywhere in the post grunge world. I blame Eddie Vedder.

Zombie you say, I did hear this on PA about 20mins before kick off a few home games back, but please can we not play this instead of insomnia, as its ours to claim, courtesy of Sir Bob. ITFC fits well too, i'll not give up on this ..

There was a period when this was the pre match tune.
Though I dont recall anyone tying it to Sir Bob's comments.
