Lovely stuff, never Fails to bring a tear to the eye. One thing I've never noticed before. Dave Beasant seemed very prominent, couldn't think why really? Anyone?

Part of his 1990 World Cup squad is all I can think of.

I think if Sir Bobby hadn't raised his hand the applause would still be going on this morning.

I'm too young to remember anything apart from his last few years here, but thanks to him I will forever consider Town to be only marginally behind Liverpool and Forest in the English footballing pecking order.

What an open, inspirational gentleman.

Yep.
Got me again too.

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

As the saying goes, it would bring a tear to a glass eye.

I've often pondered who is the greatest man who has ever lived. That's a high bar indeed, and I'm not saying that Sir Bob achieved that accolade, although his humanity just shone so bright that he'd be a contender. Maybe a better question is who is the greatest sportsman who ever lived? And in that there are again some superb human beings. Personally, I have the utmost respect for Muhammad Ali, whose impact on the world extended way beyond boxing or sport. But in terms of setting an example on how to conduct your life, on how you can be in the most competitive environment imaginable, yet maintain dignity, respect and kindness, I can't think there is anyone that topped Sir Bob. How incredibly lucky and honoured we are to have had him as our figurehead for all those years.

Who is that clapping at 1:17?

I should probably know, but it looks to me like a 60 yr old Keiran McKenna travelled back from the future just so he could honour SBR.

Has there been a more loved person in football than Bobby?

I seriously doubt it.

You know, sometimes you click on a video and after a few seconds swipe towards the end or close it down. I’ve just watched every second of this with tears. What a man, what an absolute legend of our club. Much missed but never will his presence be forgotten.
Thank you Sir Bob.
