Don’t agree with him getting abuse. But he was not good today. Ball control shocking. The pass into touch was as bad as it gets. Just can’t see what he brings to the team. |
He forced the keeper into two saves and but for another very good save from Azon he would have had an assist. All in about 15 minutes of action. And you can't see what he brings to the team? |  |

Yeah, that was sh*te. But he's not the only player to ever get a pass wrong. You would think he did it on purpose the way people scream and groan at him. |
Not just one pass though. There was an away game the other week where from six yards out he smashed in into touch when a gentle pass across goal would’ve got through to a player with an open goal. And at home recently he smashed a ball over the bar in front of the North Stand when with a gentle touch it would’ve gone in .

This might depend on Burns's level of fitness. Clarke on the right doesn't seem to work so he's sharing left side with Philogene.
McAteer seems a sold bench option & he put the ball on a plate for Azon yesterday, but I'd expect more than a solid squad player (which was all Leicester saw him as) for the absurd fee we paid. |  |

I feel really sorry for him, so unlucky with that Azon chance as it was a great bit of play he created, and even then despite the fact the keeper pulled an unbelievable save there were still people blaming McAteer for the "wrong" pass, and hes just not got the confidence with the crowd on his back all the time.
Ill never understand why people think having a pop at our own players remotely helps them. | | | |
