and would say well done to Cajuste who I have been critical of for lacking an end product. It looks like he had that today. A great driving run and pass for our second goal as well as putting players through for other chances. The rebound from Philogene hitting the post could easily have fallen to Azon. Things just aren't going his way generally. He should have had a goal at the end too.

I've only seen the highlights, but he started the move for Philogene's goal, and his timely header stopped a very good chance of an equaliser, the commentator was quite complimentary to him also, so all I can say is, he earned his money as far as I'm concerned |  | | |

I watched the whole game and honestly thought that it was one of Jens better one. He still didn't exactly impose himself but IMHO was definately better than most games this season. |  |

I'm a big critic of Cajuste, but I thought he did well.
Massive and classy contribution for Philogene's goal and important headed clearance stopping an equaliser.
Still really unconvinced by him as Sheff Wed are poor. We need someone with energy beside Matusiwa who can take some of the load off him and we'll be up against far stronger opposition, . Don't think we can rely on him as a regular starter in the engine room. Fine with him being a sub and coming on for 20 mins against a tiring side. Still think we need a CM and striker as top priority, but that's been obvious for months. | | | |

Thought he had a strange game. Bannan had a more command CM performance for them, but he was involved in the key moments.
He did less attempts of those pivot turns and running through the midfield, only to lose the ball and provide the opposition with an attacking opportunity. Not sure if that was deliberate, ie KM has been working with him to be selective when attempting those runs, or him simply not attempting them, or SW targeted stopping him doing them. |  | | |

I thought he was good yesterday. He's never going to be all action like Matusiwa but he did a lot of good work, some lovely passes to create openings for us and a few driving runs through the midfield. One of his best performances of the season. |  |

I don't think he coasted around really. We were all so poor first half. He was pretty much on par with everyone else. Struggling to work out what to do and playing one pace (slow) football.
Our weight of passing for a big chunk of game was much much too slow. Made it easy for Wednesday. And we were sloppy underhitting balls and giving it away all over the pitch.
It was some individual bits of quality like Davis delivery and Cajuste run that got us the win. We are at moments team at the moment and he did step up in a couple of moments.
Harsh to put any blame on him individually. Collectively we need to improve. We just need a better plan for low block honestly. | |

My point was that whenever I see him he clearly has skill but lacks the end product. I wasn't commenting on his overall performance at all but simply pointing out that it is good he not only had the end product for one of our goals but for a couple of chances too.
Of course, it is still possible he was the worst player on the pitch and utterly woeful in the rest of the match (but I very much doubt that is the case based on the comments from those who saw the whole game). | |

For me he looks world beating on the highlights because they don't show all the bad bits. This is nothing new, though. I just wish we could see more of the good because we can see he has it in his locker. I guess then the argument would be he wouldn't be with us if he could do it much more consistently.
I'm just saying the highlights don't show the full picture, especially with him. That's all. | |
