The Kipre thread is drifting into players who were hopeless (not Cedric!), but you couldn’t help but enjoy. In that thread we have had Thetis, Boncho and Gus Uhlenbeek. Any other good suggestions? I’ve already nominated the legend that is Gus but I’ll add Frank Nouble.
Frank was great. Reminded me of a Springer Spaniel released for its daily run. Enthusiastic, pacey but he had absolutely no idea where he was going and neither did he. I liked him.
I notice that he’s 34 now and has had a long career at many clubs - I hope he’s made a good living from it. He always made me smile.
Any others?

I liked how he used to chase the keeper down if he was dawdling with the ball. Never achieved anything chasing it down, but the crowd liked his endeavour.

Franck was a very frustrating player had all the attributes pace, power and could strike a ball but seemed to be combined with zero understanding of how to combine his obvious talents into actually doing anything productive. On more than one occasion I remember him powering down the line and just running off the pitch with the ball.

I'll always like Nouble for the part he played in Carlos Edwards' last-minute goal at Derby in 2013, making a run which pulled a defender out of position, leaving the gap which was exploited.
I was always fond of Jason Scotland. Took him a while to build up speed, but he was quite effective on occasion.

I always liked Sam Parkin, never scored at PR so most will have a poor opinion of him but away from home he did alright. Absolutely tore Leeds apart on one occasion.
