I think burnley are down ,and Leeds score goals for fun at times..if forest go down, the team will be decimated by players wanting out or having to be sold, wood ,hutch ,gibbs white surely be going,and ndow,..try and rebuild after that!!!May not come back up as quickly...it was woods 20 goals that practically put them in to nose bleed terrority,life can be cruel lol |  | | |  |

Can't stand Sean Dyche so I'm quite happy for him to take Forest down, seems unlikely though.
Not sure Hutch will have enough credit in the bank to warrant forcing another PL move after two consecutive relegations. I'd take him back but he'd cost too much. |  |

Annoyingly I think West Ham will survive again but less convinced on Forest unless they do well in January, and how that would make me chuckle. If it happened would Hutch get another well timed illness in the hope of a switch to another club (although they weren't falling over for him last time and can't imagine many would pay what Forest would want to re-coup fees). I would find it a little funny if we both went in opposite directions.
That said, I think at the end of the day it will be Wolves, Burnley and Leeds. As much as I dislike Leeds and their manager if they swapped for Forest that would be fine as I find Dyche somewhat annoying as I do the fat Greek to likes to put complaints in about everything | | | |

Third spot - I’ve a feeling Leeds may fall away. They put an awful lot into the first half of the season and promoted sides often pay for it after Christmas.

I would be happy for it to be West Ham. They do not offer a lot, the ground is appalling, and generally from directors to fans they emit a general arrogance that could benefit from some seasons in the lower leagues. |  | | |

I would be happy for it to be West Ham. They do not offer a lot, the ground is appalling, and generally from directors to fans they emit a general arrogance that could benefit from some seasons in the lower leagues. |

Just above the teams already mentioned in this thread is another team, Bournemouth, and we always see a team roundabout their position struggle in the second half of the season (it was us to some extent last year, wasn't it ?) How well they cope with the loss of Semenyo in the upcoming transfer window is crucial. |  |

Good point - he will be a massive loss for them. Would still prefer West Spam and/or Leeds ahead of them. The ideal scenario would be for Burnley to sign the likes of Bruno Fernandez and Haarland and have a stellar second half of the season to avoid relegation and send Leeds and Ham down. | | | |

West Ham’s official attendance of 62,429 for their 2-1 defeat by Nottingham Forest was almost twice as high as the number of fans who went through the turnstiles at the London Stadium on Tuesday night.
The club have an increasingly apathetic fanbase and were unable to convince a big crowd to turn out for a crucial clash in the battle against relegation from the Premier League. It is understood the real attendance was closer to 34,000 than the figure given by West Ham on their website.
A marketing push was not enough to convince supporters to fill the ground. West Ham sent out notifications on matchday about tickets being available, mostly via their ticket exchange, and held a limited-time sale over Christmas. Prices for seats in bands one to six in upper tiers were reduced by 30% until 11.59pm on Boxing Day.
It is not uncommon for clubs to use the number of tickets sold as a way to report attendances. It can give the impression that a full house was in place, even when empty seats are visible and people with tickets have stayed away. For instance, West Ham said the attendance for their game against Brentford in October was 62,452, even though fans staged a mass boycott as part of protests against the club’s board. The London Stadium, a multi-use arena, has a capacity of 62,500 for football.
West Ham have struggled to win some supporters over since leaving Upton Park in 2016. There have been complaints about the distance from the pitch, the atmosphere and fans of visiting sides sitting in home sections.
Discontent has flared with the side increasingly likely to go down. On the day of the Forest game there were huge numbers of seats available on West Ham’s ticket exchange, which allows supporters to relist seats if they do not plan to attend.
That was an indication that those with tickets, many probably season-ticket holders, did not want to be present. Nuno Espírito Santo’s side are 18th and victory would have lifted them a point behind Forest. Other factors that may have affected the attendance were inclement weather, it being a third home match in 11 days and the fact it was televised. | | | |
