I don't suppose they mean heavy water which is water which contains a slightly different form of hydrogen.
During the war the Norwegian resistance sabotaged the Vemork Norsk Hydro plant in the town of Rjukan in the county of Telemark, Norway, which the Nazis were using to produce heavy water, which could be used in the manufacture of an atomic bomb.
I have visited the plant and there was even a film about the raid on the plant.

Hydrogen water is regular water infused with extra molecular hydrogen gas ((H_{2})), marketed for its potential antioxidant properties, aiming to reduce oxidative stress and inflammation, with early research showing promise in areas like athletic recovery, liver health, and gut microbiota, though more large-scale human studies are needed to confirm widespread benefits, making it a popular but still experimental wellness drink.
I thought everybody knew that

Haha, no, I did not know.
But if you leave your hydrogen water open the infused hydrogen will bubble off, like leaving carbonated water open - it goes flat.
Benefits ? Likely to be limited.
Drink teas and tissaines, lol, much higher and proven antioxidant properties. Also, bitter olives - oleuropeins are really good for the blood. Apparently, with much more research to back that statement up :)
KBsSocks makes another pot of tea. Mugful anyone ?

Interesting, thanks GB.
Is this one of those things that's useful to everyone, or only to high-level athletes?
I heard an interesting discussion on R4 the other week, pretty much debunking the current protein craze as being broadly useless to anyone except professional body-builders and the like.

As an aside, Chris Stamp worked on the production and put his wages into a fledgling band he's just taken over the management of, The Who!
