| Red card here surely on 12:51 - Jan 18 with 2175 views | Nutkins_Return | Furlong is a bit lucky here. I think he's looking to forceably put his whole body in front of cantwell and aggressively moves across and drives his body with his arm. You can't do it and he connects with his elbow but I'm not sure he's definitely gone to elbow him in the face as such. Fact is he did so he's quite lucky not to get a red though I think yellow card would d the right call for me. You do have to factor in how soft Cantwell is 😂 | |

I know it is his “job” as captain, but the ref must have been absolutely fed up of Cantwell’s non stop chat / chirping / moaning all game. He is pretty distinctive, so maybe I noticed it more than for other captains during our games, but he seemed to follow the official around the whole time. That would drive me spare if I was trying to officiate, and I wonder if that was a factor in his decision making when Cantwell went down as if shot with that challenge.

Plus, fouling an ex-budgie? No crime detected.

| Red card here surely on 14:18 - Jan 18 with 1327 views | RetroBlue | Players conning the refs again...just because a player immediately puts his hands to his head doesn't mean that part of the body has been hit. Look at that cheating arse Cuck, awhatever at Chelsea as an example. He always rolls around clutching his head. Diving cheat. | |

| Red card here surely on 15:02 - Jan 18 with 1033 views | Garv | Maybe I'm naive but I think it's dangerous (ironic some might say) to be giving red cards for that. No one has a problem with an elbow going to into an opponent's chest when you're trying to hold him off or shield the ball, so if you misjudge the height of your opponent there's always a chance you're going to catch him in the chin/face, hence it happens quite a bit. Only thing going against Furlong is the fact he seems to have a bit of needle about him generally, so if you read between the lines you could easily come to the conclusion he meant it, plus it was Cantwell. Plausible deniability I think. | |
