Trump at Davos 14:16 - Jan 21 with 6497 viewsBlueNomad

I’m trying to listen to that clown’s speech but, thinking I couldn’t be shocked any more, I am completely done in.

“If it wasn’t for us you’d be speaking German now.”

“In the Second World War we defended Greenland and shouldn’t have given it back.”

“Canada should be grateful to us. Canada lives because of the United States. You should remember that Mark, the next time you make your statements.”

And on and on…….

And says he won't take Greenland by Force (twice), which I assume means he'll stage an attack within 48 hours.

Given Dementia Don forgets what he said 5 minutes ago, I'm not holding much hope for peace there.

He also then says NATO has never been there for the USA. The only time it has invoked Article 5 (ever!), was to 'defend' the USA after 9/11.

He's a lying moron.

He's managed to confuse Greenland and Iceland too. Unless he really wants lots of bags of frozen oven chips.

It's basically this with added menaces.

Disappointing lack of audience reactions during that too.

It had real Abe Simpson vibes, didn't it?

Agreed.

Indeed, I see no evidence of mental decline in Trump at all.

I've said it before, but people shouldn't try and explain his behaviour with illness, he is just an unbelievably massive c#nt.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Trump doesn’t believe he is the problem.

This.

And his inner circle are either in jail or without a job without Trump, so they will say nothing.

There appears to be enough medical commentary on it, to say there is something there.

3 cognitive tests, primarily used for Dementia, in 6 months are a fairly good indicator too

I believe he can be both in mental decline and a massive c@nt.

More on the latter, but something is not normal.

They just read out some texts on Five Live reacting to the speech. 3 or 4 not happy with it but a couple saying Trump was 'spot on' with one of those in particular spouting the usual right wing buzz words about 'liberal elite' and other crap like that. I wonder if that is representative of the British public's views on Trump or are the BBC doing their usual 'for balance' thing even if 90% of people would find the speech horrendous?

And for the one millionth time, he claimed the 2020 election was rigged and stolen from him. Despite there being zero evidence of that being true.

The failure of the democrats to fully shine a continual light on his insanity is hard to fathom. See also what’s left of the mainstream media. They could justifiably lead every news bulletin with “and today, Trump lied to the American people. It’s the 137th time he’s told this lie this year. He tells this lie because he’s a liar.”

I suspect that it’s for a sense of balance. Think the BBC are a bit sensitive about the ongoing Trump lawsuit and the fact that they get accused of being too lefty.

Those in the medical community shouldn't be commenting on such things.

Indeed, a Tory MP doctor on the Nicky Campbell show this morning refused to express a view when asked to comment.

Personally, I see no difference in terms of mental acuity between what he was like in 2016 and what he is like now.

The only difference to me is that the shackles are off.

It doesn’t seem to matter how many times people point out that what he is saying is just not true he still believes it and repeats it time and time again .

There must be a better word to describe him, other than liar, perhaps a medical word.

They appear to have less scruples in the USA then, as they are quite openly commenting on symptoms/evidence they are seeing.

I agree, the shackles appear to be off or he has regressed to a point that he genuinely doesn't know what he is saying or the consequences of it.

In my experience those cognitive tests can be inaccurate and dependent upon personality as much as cognition.

It's not dementia he's got. He reminds me of when I've seen managers get promoted to the next position up and are found to be out of their depth. But by then they've got so much ego that they convince themselves they are always right and just lash out at everyone else because they can't think straight, listen to advisors & problem solve. Trump is just completely out of his depth now because he's lived a life of people who never said 'no' to him before and now he can't process it.

It needn’t be dementia either. There are disorders psychiatrists have speculated about that manifest through c*untish symptoms. From the little commentary I’ve seen, people believe that’s more likely and it’s not dementia (I can’t remember the specific condition that maps perfectly on to what we see).

Everyone is guessing of course, as he won’t release his medical records, which in itself is another red flag in the US. But you’re right, there’s something not right.

The bond market took quite a hit and I assume now it’s going to bounce back after he’s said he won’t invade. I’d be checking for fortuitously timely’ trading patterns by his associates…

Reminiscent of the old turtle on a post joke. You Just know he didn’t get there on its own. Same applies to Trump. Anyone who puts a turtle on a post is an idiot as are those who put Trump where he is and I am not referring to the electorate.

In a show of how easy it is to lie for Trump’s clan and how pathetic the White House are, they are now denying what we have seen and heard on video this afternoon

He reminds me of my dickhead cousin who couldn't handle his poor wife finally getting out from under his control-freakery. He dug himself deeper and deeper into a web of self-delusion where everything was everybody else's fault and became this cold, miserable, manipulative, whining, misogynistic, narcissistic bell end.

He always was known as a massive bore - the sort who'd give long lectures on subjects he was actually pig-ignorant on, usually to youngsters who didn't know how to get away from him. An hour long lecture to a semi-captive audience, confusing Greenland with Iceland, totally misunderstanding world history, while trying to tell everybody how great he is while they're sitting there too embarrassed to tell him to stop, with a bit of casual racism thrown in would be right up his Strasse. Same dead, cold eyes too.

Trump seemed worse than ever today. Hopefully something breaks soon.
