In the League One promotion season, lots of people decided after the 0-0 draw at Bristol Rovers in February that it was game over, and the gap to Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth was too big. So there is no such thing as a "must win" game in January.
What is important is the consistent accumulation of points. A draw today and a win over Preston next weekend would keep us on their heels. What IS key in games like today is that we show we can compete away from home, with so many away trips coming up. |  |
