It is rare that no one gets 90 points, but this year there is no team on track to do so. In all previous years on 1st Feb, a team has been on track for 90+ though.

Going through your example:

25 - 2 Teams on track for 90+ points, Burnley came from behind to also get to 90+
24 - 4 teams on track for 90+ points, 3 made it
23 - 2 teams on track, both made it
22 - Fulham were the only team on track and the only team that made it to 90+
21 - Only Sc*m were on track for 90+ at this stage, but Watford joined them.

So what we see is that only 2 teams in the last 5 years have been going at less than 1.95 points per game (the required rate for 90 points) and improved enough to make it to 90. It's quite possible that at least 1 of the 4/5 top teams goes on a run and hits 90 this year, but this is the lowest points at this stage of the season in the last 6 years and it's a very real possibility that no one makes it.

And I can see that team being Boro

Gave the ball away early. Was the only one breaking from deep, was the one who carried the ball late in the first half.

In a collective day that was really poor, singling Cajuste out is a terrible take.

Never cease to amaze me with your terrible ball knowledge.

He's a serious problem. He doesn't take the ball in tight areas. He goes hiding. He bottles most 50/50s and plays the game in 2nd gear. Apart from that he's a baller 4 lyf.

Crikey. Tough crowd on this thread.

It was a tongue in cheek post about a tiny positive on what was a pretty bad day.

People seem to lose all perspective after a poor result/performance.

Your post was so obviously a tongue in cheek clutch for a positive angle, and you're getting stick for it!

Barbershop level ball knowledge. A conversation with you about football would be a serious waste of time.

Have a lovely Saturday evening, get a nice takeaway in and open a cold one.

He's been so good that McKenna has been picking Taylor ahead of him most weeks and has now signed another for that position.

McKenna also thought we needed to replace Broadhead, Chaplin, Burns with J.Clarke, J.Philogene, S.Szmodics, M.Nunez, K.McAteer, Sindre Egeli.

That went well.

I may be misremembering but aren't we closer to the top 2 than we were at this stage two seasons ago?

We were on a suspect run because we had no striker. Started playing well on Valentine’s Day, onwards.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

Win on Tuesday and we'll be 4 points off 1st, but 2 Months ago to the day, we were 16 points off. We could and should be doing better in some games (like today), but we're right in the mix still.

Shows how much Coventry have collapsed since we beat them first time round.
Even Lampard admitted today that appears to be a turning point for them
