I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but it's crazy to me that we didn't sign Moore after his last loan spell. Premier League experience for last season, and a proven goal scorer at this level. I wonder whether we were a bit arrogant about it, thinking something better was coming. |  | | |

£30m bids for Broja and Ioannidis would certainly suggest that the club wanted another striker and, ideally, someone who should be significantly better than Moore. | |

Moore joined Sheffield United pretty early in the transfer window that summer. If we'd been signing Moore as a newly promoted Premier League club at that stage people rightly would have been bemoaning a lack of ambition in our approach. |  |
