Portsmouth frustrating, all the work done, prep, travel, just want to play the game. Spoken a few times about infrastructure and quality in this league and we've had three games called off by early Feb in one season isn't good enough. But was a really wet day, wasn't possible to play it.
Made the best of it. Managed to get a 4G pitch down there, trained down there and kept the rest of the week as it was planned. Not ideal in terms of travel but made the best of it and clear the challenge is having a busy schedule ahead. | | | |

Have the squad to be successful. But having players in the buildng is a small part of what will make us successful. Have depth in all positions. Why no striker? I don't think I've ever spoken about strikers in particular. I said I'd look at squad and see how we could improve it. Every area of the squad we look at in that respect. Really happy with what we've brought in. In other areas of the squad, very few players who could improve the squad and those that were weren't attainable in this window. Of course, you want to strengthen the squad in every area, but not making a signing in the last few days I don't think that's a bad sign, it would have been really easy to get a positive vibe for the sake of doing it. But that's a sign of weakness. Really happy with the two we've added. Would have liked to have added in a few different ways, but wasn't possible but we stick with the squad that we've got, which is improving. | | | |

Really strong acquisition, really contributed, but we knew or we know that he can perform to a consistent level in the Champ and believe he will continue to develop. Set up really well in the future, Wes has made a good return, lots of reasons in the mix. Reason we have the money to invest in a winger is bravery of ownership.
