When did O’Shea start raising his arm constantly 11:16 - Feb 22 with 1962 viewsDeano69

And randomly pointing in various directions

Can’t run and change direction with your arm in the air.

Just found it very annoying yesterday but don’t recall it happening much in previous games?

O Shea has to up his game.
Either command the defence and lead by example or have a rest on the bench.

He should have dealt with Kieffer Moore and failed.

It's a cover up tactic to deflect his rubbish defending rather than it being leadership.

Heads the ball well, can get some good blocks in at times and ping the odd long pass but can't play a good short pass and constantly backs off when people run at him.

He's telling Kipre what position to be in, and trying not to over commit and limit Moore's options for a pass or pull back. He shouldn't be scoring from there, that's on Walton.

O'Shea's play for their first goal awful.
No need to.point nywhere as there was no-one in the middle.
Should have just concentrated on blocking Moore's route to goal.
Good finish though and tough for Walton

We are giving away ridiculous goals. Keep messing around trying to look clever playing out from the back ( and back to the keeper ) with 6 to 10 passes before it finally moves forward.
Move the ball quicker and play fancy quick passing football further up the pitch.
Why cant we get the ball into the box quicker.

Watford are pushing for the play offs so O Shea etc will need to he ready to defend.

I thought yesterday was the worst game Furlong has played for us. But that first goal is completely Dara. He lost sight of Moore, was too slow to catch up with him (200lbs 33 year old) and pointed to Kipre to go off (which is the biggest mind*uck cause there was noone else there except Moore). Walton didn't help either but for me it's Dara's goal.

A cracking finish from Moore but any keeper has to be disappointed to concede from there. O'Shea was more concerned with stopping the ball coming across the box.

That would be forgiveable, perhaps, if he's actually then put pressure on Moore rather than slowing down and pointing.

I never realised that Kiefer Moore was such a big bloke.

Great player I wish he was at town.

Whatever the angle, the first rule of defending must surely be never allow an attacker an unchallenged shot on goal.
