Sometimes it's worth pinching yourself to remind you that you're not dreaming. State
of ground, quality of football. Some will have today down as routine victory. It used to be anything but routine.
The standard of football we've had under KM is incredible. For my money, there's a serious argument that this season is his most impressive so far.
Dealing with relegation, especially as a club years ahead of where it should have been, the fallout of losing lots of games in the second half of the season, a lot of turnover, some unexpected, new players arriving late, huge expectation and pressure, a lot of players who needed support for different reasons... None of it easy. Just look at Leicester and Saints.
And yet he's done it again and built another team in his style. Some of the patterns and play today were so reminiscent of the 22/33, 23/24 sides.
Disappointing to see so many leaving early rather than stay to clap them off.
On we go.

Personally, dreamland for me would be 10 points clear on a low points total, not in a right scrap for second with the likes of Millwall, Hull and M’boro but where’s the excitement in that…?

It is crazy how spoilt we become as fans. Bar the last 3 amazing seasons it's been a decade since 2014/15 when we made the play offs. And over 20, 2 bloody decades plus, that we were in a position where we were this close and pushing for autos.
We now see it as our birthright to go up automatically no questions asked. And we should, but look at what has come before and take a breath! |  | | |

Oh,don’t me wrong I have stayed,but only the odd game in a season. The travelling means it makes a big difference to get gone and up the road. I can shave 30 odd minutes off my time and that makes a big difference the other end. I’m sure they would understand. | | | |

I’ve long had the opinion that I wanted us to get promoted just so we had the money to be a top Championship side. Competing at the top of this level is much more exciting and fun than being battered week in week out at Prem level or the previous life we had as effectively no-hopers at this level.
That does seem to bring an unbelievable amount of expectation and some people see results like today as expected and routine (and are therefore sometimes raging when it doesn’t happen) but I think it’s great that we are a good team with good players that are playing positive stuff. |  | | |

The parachute money runs out.
Championship is littered with bang average teams that had a taste of PL previously. Not to mention two promoted teams are very much challenging the notion of the Premier League being a closed shop. If you want to avoid a long term existence in the EFL, without moving forward, building new stands etc you need multiple promotions and to try and establish. [Post edited 28 Feb 19:18]

We overachieved getting to the PL when we did anyway and that’s put the ‘entitlement’ into the fanbase unfortunately.
Some people really need to park that we were a Premier League side last season, because on the pitch, in reality, we weren’t.
Last season was purely a free hit ‘enjoy the experience’ season - yes it would’ve been nice to have been competitive in the second half of the season and heck it would’ve been a lot nicer to stay up but we didn’t and we’ve had to rebuild and go again.
And boy are we going again…
