We've proven twice previously that, when the chips are down in a promotion race, McKenna gets the team over the line.
Boro look catchable and 2nd is within our control.
Cov would need another January-esque wobble, but, as someone else said, Easter fixture congestion could well see it.

Everything seems to be falling for them right at the minute (injuries/fixtures etc.). If some of those things start going the other way (dodgy decisions against them, bans, injuries etc.) then it's entirely possible that they can be caught. |  | | |

Where did you say we’d finish last season?
We won’t be far off second, but we still lack the team dynamic away from home. Think we’re mid table for completing passes, and not great for passing backwards.
Simply put. We’re improving, at the right time, but will sail way under our precious points totals, and what other parachute teams achieve with our resources - tha may or may not change the outcome, but it 100% is instructive in what’s to come .., you don’t get the same inputs and different outcomes long term.
What’s the opposite of elite. That.
Neil though is perfects, Mats as good as it gets at the level and Mehmeti is too good for this league.
But we signed two of those in January, one isn’t out, and that’s AFTER a £220 million gross spend!!
It tells a story over several years now.., you just can’t see it for the reductive tribal hysteria .., and it’s important if we we want ling term success.
Panic isn’t a strategy .., but dozens of maters until one is good enough isnt either.
