He doesn’t talk about winning, he emphasises “killing”. “We will kill more.” True but his enthusiasm to do “God’s work” is chilling. Historically inaccurate too. He claims one of their submarines sank an Iranian warship with a torpedo. “The first time since World War Two that has happened.” He’s obviously unaware of the Belgrano.

They enjoyed working with a "capable ally". Great stuff. I'm sure Israel are equally enjoying working with the useful idiots in Washington.

wonder what musk's "cost-saving" department would make of an avoidable loss of several hundred million dollars?

Fk, I think I’ve got their app. We had a large Hawaiian and large Texan bbq chicken last time. They do 2 large for the price of 1 if you collect. I don’t remember the Christian bit though. We did break (garlic) bread, so maybe that counts?

100%. They’re fake Christians. It’s bizarre how sections of the right have co-opted the Christian label despite having very obviously anti-Christian views. We see it here in the UK too with our own political right. And yet despite all the evidence, people still fall for their schtick. It’s a very not-Christian cult.

It would be great to hear some of the established Christian churches calling them out for it. Where are the 'community leaders' is a pretty common refrain when extremists claiming other religious allegiances are warmongering.

To be fair, the Catholic church in the US has been very openly critical over the ICE crackdown. Some other pastors have also turned (or already been) against Trump. However, the US evangelical churches are deeply embedded with social conservatism and the political right, sometimes verging on segregationism, even. And that's where the money is, so they can take over things and get their message out louder than anyone else. There's a lot of very rich right-wing people who are manipulating Christianity in the US for their own aims (as a social influence), the same as they have done to politics. Unfortunately, it is also spreading over here in the UK, with a lot of RW evangelical funded propaganda in Christian broadcasting and some churches.
