Someone asked why it got so many downvotes when quite a lot of people agreed with it, I think the fact it had so many downvotes is because I posted it!
I think it was a fair post, Clarke (IMO) clearly had one of his less effective games, but I didn't mean it to sound like I was making him a scapegoat (as a few odd posts made out) or that he has had a poor season (that is far from the case).
I love how it split the room, some agreeing, some very much disagreeing, that's what we are all here for.
I got called a few names, which is not so nice, but I also know I post in a way that is a little bit provocative.
I am also very much looking forward to a Jack Clarke masterclass tomorrow! |  |

He’s very effective at this level, drifts in and out of games, not good enough defensively, even at this level, and is miles off premier league.
Still relatively young. Feel for him, KM trying to coach new roles into him for 12 months, and mitigating what he’s actually v good at, running at players.
Give him space and he can terrify defenders at this level .., level about 90% of the time they just take the ball off him, he’s very light in the tackle.., if we went up and he had a good start then you never know. Confidence player clearly.
All that said…, we haven’t used him nearly enough this season.., our best three technical players all want to be wide left.., it’s poor from Ashton and McKenna when we are SO light on quality on the right side.
