I’d play Baggott at centre back and Greaves at left back. Baggott has played plenty of league one football which is probably still above Wednesdays current standard so he’ll be fine. Greaves usually looks better at left back then centre back too. And then it leaves Johnson as a handy bench option, especially if we end up in a situation where we’re chasing a goal and can throw him on at either full back.
Boniface and Mendel should be the extra subs but we’ll probably put 2 keepers on the bench instead of having Mendel. None of the youngsters are ever fancied. |  |

I think he played there against Bromley? He was fine going forwards but he’s just not a very good one on one defender, and seems to lose concentration in vital moments. I’d prefer having a solid defensive back 3 and 2 wing backs (Mehmeti and Burns). This also reduces defensive requirements of Clarke (he struggles physically at times) and leaves him more as an outlet. I’ve been impressed with Mehmet’s tenacity to win the ball so I think he makes a natural left wing back. | | | |
