| If Wrexham win tonight 10:02 - Mar 17 with 1550 views | tractorboy1978 | Then feels to me like anyone below Derby is out of play off contention. 10 points is too much to make up barring some miraculous form or drop off in form. Similarly looks like anyone above Blackburn is safe from relegation. So it could peter out into quite a boring end to the season for nearly half the clubs in the league. | | | | |

West Brom it probably depends where they are by then and Birmingham have been so erratic it's a toss up whether they turn up. [Post edited 17 Mar 11:15]

Yep. And whilst Southampton are flying right now, it is feasible they could be out of play off contention by 25th April too. Wrexham vs Southampton is shaping up to be a 6-pointer on 7th April.

I was thinking that about the Saints game yesterday. Hopefully they will have one foot on the beach!

Like a lot of others, I’ve enjoyed watching Welcome to Wrexham and the positivity that has been brought to a struggling town, but the Rob and Ryan commentary the other night is one of many things wrong with footy at the moment. Was just nauseating. Kind of links in to yesterdays chat about flame throwers before matches and the fact football is just becoming a product and not an emotion anymore.

I kind of agree but still think them in the play-offs is less of a threat than Southampton will be if they get there.

For me, I would rather face Southampton than Wrexham in the playoffs offs. There are three teams I want us to avoid playing in them if we don’t go up automatically. Wrexham (they find a way to beat us) Birmingham (away leg at St Andrews would not be an easy task) Norwich (form team in the league and would be horrendous) Luckily 2/3 of the teams on my list is looking tough for them to finish in the top 6 albeit still possible. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I would rather face Wrexham than Southampton over 2 legs.

I have just found them nauseating over the last couple of years - hope they don't make the playoffs and get relegated next season
