Shame that it sounds, from the press release at least, as if it's going to be an extremely limited run (for the matchday squad only), with the shirts then auctioned off for the Foundation.
No chance of the 'normal' fan getting hold of one.
People seem to be losing their heads to get one of those tops*.
*I know he wasn’t executed but he would have been if he hadn’t have died on the way down to his trial so the joke still stands - unlike his proposed school.

A thing of beauty but not a hope I'll be able to afford the prices they'll be auctioned for. Sure they'll release in due course given the effort they have gone to and how much they'd make

He wanted a great deal for Ipswich, but thanks to Henry VIII's obsession with Ann Boleyn, and the Cardinal being unable to secure Henry his divorce from Catherine, Ipswich never saw its potential as a centre of learning. If ever the expression "his brain is in his trousers" was painted, King Henry VIII's portrait would be the end product.

Very weird to see this after spending all afternoon teaching my postgrad students about the 1561 Agas Map of London, which must be one of the inspirations for this.
Doubt very much I’d be able to win an auction on an academic salary, so hope very much there’ll be a print edition.

A poster, or tea towel would be a great idea. Maybe Call Me Ted will be able to produce some merch later on. Like you, I won't have funds to buy at auction, but I absolutely love it!
For all of the people who talk about Ipswich being run down and boring, just look into the history. It is a place I'm glad to call my home town. The Tudor links, award-winning architecture (Willis building, Orwell Bridge), The White Horse Hotel, The Our Lady shrine on Lady Street, Christchurch Mansion, not to mention the surrounding area - Lavenham, Kersey, Dunwich, Landguard Fort, Framingham Castle and its connection to Queen Mary. This town and surrounding area has so much to be proud of!
