Hmmm. I thought he was throughly ineffective where it mattered on the pitch. His yellow card summed up his whole performance for me. But we know we’re not where we want to be with our forwards after spending two windows looking for an improvement. It is what it is. |  |

He is good at lots of things. And he played well. But he is very slow in the box with the ball. For me anyway. | | | |

He was great today at chance creation and getting other plates involved.
If any player disappointed me today it was Mehmeti. Thought it looked off it for the most part. | |

It should open up things far more than it does, but our other players don't always take advantage with the final ball often being poor.

He didn’t create a single chance as far as I saw  . He runs a lot and does little layoffs outside of the box, but nothing that actually offers a threat. If we had a striker that attacked the goal, there were a couple of lovely balls whipped in behind the CBs that would have been tap ins (much like their goal). But in open play he doesn’t find those positions.
He was unlucky with his shot, but I think that was his only attempt too. | |

Generally Azon is much improved vs the player we first signed. But his sense of what is a foul in English football is completely out-of-kilter. He needs to stay on his feet. It clouds judgement of his performances when he dives, fails to win free-kicks/pens, and we lose possession. | | | |

Thought Azon played well especially against that big lump Millwall have at the back.
Certainly couldn't say Akpom did a thing when he came on and neither did Philogene. But then Philly a bit rusty.
We really struggle when a team is physical.
Hirst despite being taller than Azon doesn't win as many balls in the air.
Millwall deserves credit, although I am a bit averse to giving them any given their past.
I think we are more likely to get more change out of Boro than we did Millwall and of course those dreaded Budgies won't be giving a lot away,
