I make you right, it's the weakest part of the team along with right wing.
If we'd got both those positions right I suspect we'd be clear of Cov by now.
On the other hand pre season most of us would have said Hirst was amongst the divisions best strikers, nobody could have foreseen him performing as poorly as he has done this season, and frankly we've still got a good chance of going up in spite of it. |  |

Despite being very raw, I thought Azon gave their CBs some real problems yesterday with his link up play and was very unlucky with the worldy save.
I don't think the Hirst sub had the desired effect and led to us being boxed in. Despite being taller, he wasn't competitive in the air at all and when we played over their press it came straight back.
I think Hirst has qualities that have suffered with the different game states we've seen this season. Hirst is mobile for a big lad so can stretch the play and drop in if there is space but we're now a dominant team usually trying to penetrate really compact teams. That is not Hirst's game, he's not got the intricacy to play in tight spaces or the finishing quality to bury a half chance that may fall to him in the box. | | | |

To strengthen your argument, how about we say that we’ve transferred nobody out for any £££ (after all, have we seen the £1 notes?) and all our players are worthless. They’ve not been sold so they have no value.

Akpom should have been replaced hes toothless. Im sure we could have got in a more decent player, its the only area i'm 100% certain has been a mistake, the third striker. |  |
