I would say it's very important to understand why. How can you possibly solve any problem without knowing the reason for it.

I really don’t see what’s wrong with trying to understand the motivation behind these attacks. Without that, how can we stop things like that happening. If the arseholes that did this were motivated by what they’ve read online, we should be tackling disinformation online. If it was as a result of warped media, we should be tightening regulation around media. If it was a result of a reprisal from then Palestine situation, we should be seeking to dampen the rhetoric of pro-Palestine groups. If it was Iran sponsored, we should be extra vigilant with our counter-terrorism activities.

When those animals were attacking migrants in hotels in response to the son of an immigrant murdering those little girls in Southport we didn’t attempt to contextualise their actions. We condemned them without reservation. We quite rightly called the, racists.

I don't think you meant any harm by your posts but it is incredibly frustrating to see this sort of contextualisation whenever there is an attack on non Israeli Jews around the world.
Your link about the settler violence deserves a thread of its own. Or could be posted on one of the many threads about the situation in the middle east. The actions of the settlers are deplorable. It's terrorism.
But it doesn't belong here when once again the british Jewish community wake up to another anti semitic attack. Without intent, your posts reads as whataboutery. That is my opinion. Some may agree and some may disagree.

Unfortunately, not everybody has the ability to read Netanhayu's conflation of Israel and all Jews and not follow suit.
