If we genuinely want to display our displeasure at this week’s events at the Birmingham game, may I suggest entering the ground five minutes after kick off and then loudly getting behind the team, in unison, ten minutes in.

Support the team as normal. Then after the game, when the final Town player has left the pitch start the protest.

People will say this is more important than football, and it is, but let's remember the players, manager and coaching staff did not have any part in this. Our captain has admitted to feeling the pressure. Let's not add to it. Let's not make their job any harder.

If you haven’t realised, the bulk of the fan (and employee) discontent is not political anymore but directed towards the dishonesty and gaslighting by Ashton & Co

I hope he gets sacked before the Brum game though, will save everyone a lot of trouble

We have a CEO who has damaged our club.

Players are upset and distracted.
Fans are divided and angry.
Sponsors are p*ssed off and future sponsorships could be impacted.
Player recruitment will be harder after this week.

So maybe the question should be why do you think we should stand by and pretend everything is fine with our club when a key employee has been proven to be incompetent, dishonest, divisive and damaging to our club?

Do you not want our club to get better? Cos I do, I can't see how that happens with Mark Ashton remaining in post.

I think if people really want to protest it should NOT be done during the match, go and stand outside PR with banners, but don’t create a toxic environment on match day. Some of the suggestions are not productive at all, and frankly hypocritical just suggesting them… No, it’s not the clubs finest hour by any stretch, but support the team, any protest chants should be drowned out by a rally of ‘blue army’ … The end of the first half against Millwall ‘oh when the town’… that’s what I want … that’s Ipswich… Keep politics out of football please, let’s not feed this anymore

This is such a bad idea (in my opinion). We'd be a laughing stock around the country for it. Quite literally hurting the team in supporting a promotion push, they deserve better. Sheffield Wednesday done it but look how they were treated by that maniac.

While on here it might seem most, think Farage is the devil, the reality is he is polling at 20-30%. I dare say that number is higher in the demographic of football fans. For example, to my surprise “Kier Starmer is a Wan…” was randomly sung pretty loudly at Derby away….

So what’s going to happen when half the fanbase protest and the others don’t?

I think enough has already been demonstrated to show frustration. Mark will know he messed up.

We should do what mark didn’t do and keep politics out of football. People go to Portman Road to for football tribalism, not political tribalism. Let’s get behind the team.
