Was hoping to see some of Ashton's bridge building before now tbh, as it really needs something to take the edge off it. Such an unbelievable own goal.

It is not his issue, so I think it is unfair to do what KOA suggested that you 'have to ask the questions to him', do you really have to ask him? We don't want to lose our manager. Kieran will be asked about it and will no doubt have carefully planned what he has to say. He is caught in the middle of this and I'm sure will see it as an enormous and unnecessary distraction in terms of promotion ambitions. He'll ultimately want unity and fans to get behind the team on Monday more than anything else.

I completely agree that I don't want it to be asked, I want the focus to be fully on the team. But, like it or not, it has been big news this week and the club have given journalists no other avenue to asks questions, so it would be a dereliction of duty not to ask. I wish that were not so. I'm far more interested about the progress of Jaden and the preparations, than issues outside of KMs control that he is unlikely to get too involved in answering. Hopefully it will be a quick one and done, then move on.

Also, someone from the club acting as a representative could come along to field those questions so Kieran doesn't have to. But they probably won't and he'll be thrown to the wolves (no offence Phil!)

| Its going to be bloody horrible in the stands on Monday, isn't it? on 09:51 - Apr 2 by positivity | he may well want the chance to say something about it if his players are as upset about it as twtd and koa say they are. he may well not, in which case he has the option to straight bat it. give him the opportunity, it won't make any difference to him staying or going |
He will be very pragmatic and say he isn’t discussing the matter. It’s not for him to get into politics. He’s a football manager. Why does he need to say something that might get him into hot water to , just to please your agenda ?

100% correct. There is no real point asking the question because it won't be answered. It's well above KM' s level and duties. It's will be batted away and then onto the next question.

where have i said that he has to say something, i've said the opposite! i've said, give him the opportunity, if he chooses to straight bat it, that's absolutely fine. it's ashton's mess, not kieron's.

| Its going to be bloody horrible in the stands on Monday, isn't it? on 10:30 - Apr 1 by Cheltenham_Blue | Yes. I’m debating not going as the first chorus of “stand up if you hate Reform” is going to cause stand up rows in the stands. “We want Ashton out” will be booed as soon as it happens. I sit next to the away fans in the SAR lower and the Brum fans will have a field day with this, that alone will be intolerable. |
You're genuinely thinking of not going because a song might be sung? Blimey.

| Its going to be bloody horrible in the stands on Monday, isn't it? on 15:02 - Apr 2 with 71 views | Damster | I would say this has largely passed now and anyone still holding some sort of personal upset probably needs to get a grip of themselves and probably worse things going on in the world to worry about. How about we go to a game to watch the game. | | | |

try reading it again, i wanted him to straight bat it, it's not his mess. he showed himself to be the true pro that itfc supporters know he is (not so much you, which is why you're always so miserably negative) i wanted ashton to front up. he didn't. as expected.
