Perhaps they can get the peaky blinders to make a complaint.

Very favourable snapshot, it was more contentious than that makes it look.

Probably was out, but I make that at most the second time we've had any luck off a ref this season, so, sod it.

Looked in to me on the replay and didn't really even look close to being fully out. We got away with one.

We’re still in a big ref deficit but I’ll take this little chunk of “these things even themselves out over the season.”

They can enjoy that huge consolation prize we've had so often this year - an apology from the PGMOL.

That is definitely not frozen at the right moment. The one the TV showed had it on the line.

It is clear that the officials couldn't have seen it was out (even if it was) so should not have ruled it as being out. Lovely for it to go our way for once, though.

All of the ball has to be over the line. And it was nowhere near over.

My only thought is that if he was wearing 'proper' black boots, there would be no confusion. I can only assume the lino's got his very light blue boots and the ball mixed up in the split second he has to make the call.

It's about time something went our way.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

I know the rule.

I have seen a freeze frame where it is further towards being over than the one shown in the Tweet above. I haven't seen one where it is over so I would assume it didn't go over it. However, all of them rely on being frozen at the point the ball is closest to going (or actually is) over the line.

It was definitely at least on the line as shown in the other freeze frame. Which is definitely closer than "nowhere near over".

The freeze frame on sky had the ball at least 2/3rds over the line. Difficult for the ref. With no VAR he probably made the right call.

Also Osman seemed to overplay the ball towards the goal line so that probably helped make the refs mind up.

Good, fkkking hate Birmingham.

Especially after the nastiness we usually get at their place, this season being no exception.

Serves them right.

And that’s still only one of the Leicester & Stoke injustices rectified. Would be nice if the other one is on Saturday.
