The journalist covering Real for Radio 5 was incredible. Practically in tears in frustration of the UEFA corruption that had led to the worst refereeing performance and miscarriage of justice in history…..or words to that effect.
His only solace seemed to be that Real would ‘do things’ in the morning to sort it out….which seemed to amount to a strongly worded letter complaining.
You had to be there I guess. But the delusion was pretty incredible to listen to. Presumably the only solution is to set up their own league and appoint their own referee. |  | | |

At stages yes, but there was one moment 2nd half Bayern had 5 attacking players in a line across the pitch like just pressing Madrid further and further back. I dont remember seeing anything like that before in a game at this level, and it worked because they just kept creating chances. Of course they score from the crazy how did you do that, instead of the ive just got to toe poke the ball into the net.
But yeah and of course it was beyond Madrids thinking to even think we'll just go long then and cut half your team out, if your going to keep lining up like that. | | | |
