Really bloody annoyed
We were fine. But suicide after our goal. Greaves neil nunez all involved.
So baffled by our desperation for that 2nd goal with sending 6 players up and leaving gaping hole in midfield. That was poor imo. No need. They needed to win. At that point id have thought better off letting them come at us then hitting on break.
Final 10 minutes we should have won it. So close.
But so fken annoyed we had there and we blew it imo.
Saturday scared the sht out of me. We hit the self destruct button with this side so much.
V huddersfield and exeter i was so relaxed and knew we would do it. I cant feel it with this. Esp how we went about the game after the goal. Over excited. Suicidal football.
On we go. Let's hope we can do it.

I agree with this - our comeback was great. The way we ended the game; we haven't seen much of that season, even when behind. It was fantastic to witness. But I appreciate the argument about game control after our first too. | |

No i wanted us to get promoted for my dad and we fked that spell up after our goal. Its not to much to want your side to manage the 10 minutes after you score. We messed about with the ball to much instead of clearing our lines and allowed them to get in and around our box.

This is a very good Southampton side. I think some of us probably dreaded us being under the cosh for 90 considering some performances this season. Instead we turned up and fought. There should be no question about the side's fight and desire tonight - none whatsoever. Arguably we deserved the win; luck was definitely on their side tonight.
I do agree with you our game management had a lot to answer at 1-0. But the way we fought back into it at 2-1 down was a credit to everyone, from McKenna downwards. | |

Although we didn’t “have it there” did we. We were drawing, so obviously needed to go for it if we wanted promotion tonight. Plus there was no downside to not going for it. We’d still need to beat QPR to guarantee promotion whether we drew or lost.

Huge character to turn it round at 2-1 and there was only going to be one winner last 5 and injury time.
