The anti Ipswich bias is unreal, particularly from the guy with a dodgy moustache.
I'm not usually one for crying about this sort of thing but so far just 11 minutes in:
- QPR are a 'bogey' side for Ipswich. Just 2 home wins from last 7 Vs QPR. - Ipswich are feeling the pressure and playing like a nervous side performed badly in big games and not taken advantage of it being in their hands - Most of the team have no experience of handling pressure (despite listing a good chunk of the team who have just conveniently ignored) - Apparently playing a team with nothing left to play for is a horrible fixturewith obscure references such as WBA 5-5 Man Utd - Game will be decided on whether QPR turn up and if they do they will win. Comments such as it depends on whether QPR will take advantage of a nervous Ipswich - Millwall are nailed on to beat Oxford - Edit just got to the predictions part and the co host thinks it will be a 2-2 draw with Millwall going up.... Jeez. To be fair the other bloke who seems more sensible thinks Town will do it.
I think you're taking it too seriously. A lot of it is tongue in cheek, and what they really want is a grandstand end to the race for automatic promotion. Which to be fair is the same as most neutrals.
They have never shown any anti Ipswich bias in the past and are big fans of Kieran McKenna.

I think it is desperation to have something to talk about. The relegation issue is done and Coventry are gone over the horizon. The play-offs is a little interesting given the three way permutation but not exciting enough to devote an hour to it.
Bogey sides makes me laugh a little bit as these days, with the squad and manager turnovers, it means very very little. They have been a bit team Millwall for most of the season so may be playing up to that a smidgen.
They have been critical of us this season but I haven't heard them say anything that hasn't been echoed on here. What I find odd though is the fawning over sides who are below us in the table. They talk about Norwich as if they are prime Real Madrid at the moment.

For a lot of the season, they have been markedly pro-Ipswich.
Talks**** were pretty much the same implying Millwall/Middlesbrough haven't relied on money/parachute payments etc. So what's the point getting promoted in the first place then?

Generally, one of them at least, is very complementary about Town.
They just want some excitement on the final day as it's good content for them and thus looking for scenarios.
You've read too much into one episode.

I don't listen to them regularly but the times I have the co host has never had anything good to say about Town. But I think they do have an agenda in wanting to play up the excitement.
It would be really satisfying for Town to go 3 up in 15 minutes and all these neutrals tuning in for the 'jeopardy' can moan switch off the TV and go on with their weekends.

That would be good then just see how the last remaining play off place works out. The Wrexham v Boro game could be entertaining.

Main host is very pro Ipswich and was a little obsessed with us two years ago. Co-host probably rebels against that somewhat which maybe comes across as being anti but I don't think he is.
They co-predicted we'd be promoted at the start of 23/24.
I've listened to them alot and they have been pretty fair about us all season. Have been a bit frustrated with us, our squad and the money we've spent balanced against our performances but then haven't we all?
I heard him predict a 2-2 draw and knew it was coming. I think it's just being contrary and wishful thinking. They get more money the more clicks they have on their content.
He did it last week as well. Framed the whole weekend as 'Ipswich slipped up (against West Brom), but Millwall couldn't take advantage (against Leicester) of the slip up' despite us playing after Millwall, and just needing to match their result.

I listen to them semi-regularly and find them fairly balanced on Ipswich. Two years ago they were very hot on us as the underdogs in the promotion race, and this season they've found us a bit underwhelming.
As with most podcasts of this nature, they are prone to sensationalisation and recency bias. Us, Millwall and Boro have all seen it this season: if a team loses a couple of games, its fatal and they'll never go up. If they then win 2 games, they're superb and are are favourites for promotion.

Ryan has mentioned previously that he lived in Ipswich for a spell for work, so he definitely has a soft spot for us. But then again he also lived in Norwich apparently... could he have soft spots for both of us?!
