You’re probably a lot older than me but I can’t remember a local election where only local issues had been discussed. Every party does it as far as I can see so not sure why the greens would shoot themselves in the foot by not talking about national issues that matter to a lot of people. |

I voted for the Greens in the last two general elections but things like this to make me very wary about Polanski's ability to read the room, which is a key skill for a politician. But if not them, who? The options seem to be dwindling by the day, at least at national level. | |

Fair points. I don’t like this. I’d rather it was about bins and libraries. Unfortunately we’re all seeing that global events hit our wallets and people want to blame someone for that. I really don’t like the negative campaigns this time around though. Your example is obviously locally targeted (high Muslim population?), as I’ve received nothing like what you’ve posted. Nothing about Palestine at all from the Greens. Here it’s all about keeping Reform out.
It would be nice to know what a party stands for rather than what is stands against (I can work out for myself Farage is a racist and surrounded by incompetent nut jobs). |  |
