The Beeb reporters seem to be gutted. on 11:02 - May 8 by OldFart71
Starmer states he takes the blame. No it's not just his fault, it is the stupid policies, the promises broken. He said "We obviously are not changing as quickly as people want" No, again. The changes you are making means working and tax paying people are forking out more and more to keep those who don't work the same or better conditions. He claimed he would "Smash the gangs", he even changed his Home Secretary. But that doesn't work unless you repeal laws brought in by Blair and leave the ECHR, Human rights lawyers are making a fortune out of this and many don't even live in the UK. As for changing the Labour leadership that's like changing the Captain on the Titanic after it's hit the iceberg.
On the plus side, at least you’ve learnt to use paragraphs.
Homework for next week is ‘fact checking’.

And this response confirms just how out of touch you are with normal people. You just love running us down because we are not as educated as you but that proves how nasty you are
It's not about education, you don't need to be educated to do just a little bit of research into what the parties are actually offering.
I know a lot of people that intended to vote reform, and the vast majority are not bad people, I would say all are politically naive though, and seem to support Reform as you would a football team, just blind support without any reason. It is therefore very hard to discuss political issues with them, as quite quickly they will say something like "well it's not like the current lot are doing any good", as if by not supporting Reform I must be a staunch supporter of 'another team'.
I work in adult social care and volunteer in a school, I have family who work in the NHS and construction. Should Reform ever be given the responsibility of running the country and their policies put into practise, all of these areas would cease to function. We rely on immigration for high skilled and lower wage jobs. That's not to mention that they would scrap all green policies in order to fund tax cuts for the rich, which wouldn't actually even come close to funding the cuts so public services would also be massively cut back, effecting the 'normal people' you say anyone who isn't a Reform supporter is so out of touch with.

The football team supporter analogy is exactly what the vast majority I've encountered are like. And as you say, they just try to flip it as you would a football team, who'd you support then, two tier Kier, hug an illegal greens, they're sh1t mate, reform army.
Hence any policy discussion begins and ends with, 'anythings better than this lot' or they lob a debunked sound bite grenade and walk away 'not doing politics'.

I'm a school governor at a local authority school in Essex. I am genuinely worried about what a Reform-led council is going to mean for schools even given that the funding is distributed from a national level. I can guarantee you that a significant chunk of the 'my child's SEND needs aren't being met by their current school' lobby (and admittedly there's a large number of kids where the school are doing their level best with limited resources but whose provision could be better) will have voted for Reform candidates. Let's see how that pans out.

I'm not even sure that all the reform councillors understand what they will be doing day to day. Maybe that's a little much, but Reform were barely a fully formed party a few years ago and have accumulated a lot of candidates in a short period of time. Will they genuinely carry on after meetings upon meetings about budgets, funding allocations, complaints about pot holes, wheelie bins etc etc etc. Much more appealing to just talk about smashing the small boats and socking it to Starmer. The reality will be so so so different. Hence many genuine life long councillors and local government types in tears at what it might all mean in practical terms.
Still, erm, good luck to them, let's see how it goes shall we.....

In some ways will be a positive, probably a complete car crash and make many think twice before a GE
