I see reform are continuing to use the club to sow division 20:22 - May 9 with 7927 viewsDublinBlue84

This is exactly what they do, use people for their own publicity and sow division.

And they'll keep doing it.

Agreed.

The only thing I can add is that it was all completely avoidable.

It’s way too late for damage limitation now.

Since the gentleman concerned is unwilling to desist it might be appropriate for the club to get a court order to stop him.

It is fundamentally false to imply that Reform have any reason to thank Ipswich Town supporters for Reforms success. Any verbal apology would be worthless.

Poll: Dickhead "Noun" a stupid, irritating, or ridiculous man.

It would be interesting for the local press to ask if we have issued a cease and desist letter seeking that they do not continue to misuse our image and brand.

I’m sure it won’t stop them.
But it would be interesting to know if Ashton has even instructed lawyers to ask.
Something tells me he might not have…🙄

By blurring the background Halo advert is unreadable something must have prompted that, hopefully action by Ashton.

Yes it’s not Reform types costing the police millions with “protests” which are thinly veiled attempts at riots across major cities.

It’s the left doxxing people for taking down flags they’ve put yup to spread hate.

The left are bussed in to stand outside hotels and intimidate people.

The left are resigning every day due to vile racist, transphobic, hate speech etc

The left are suggesting camps in enemy constituencies

And you say more interested in antagonising and winding people up than entering a proper discussion.

Baffling how you can infer that from a list proving you wrong. It’s interesting you go for personal attacks in the fact of facts when proven wrong. The classic response of the angry.

Projection perhaps?

I don’t think Ipswich Town FC are “directly” associated with a political party, that’s in your own head. Frankly I reckon the conservative, Labour, Lib Dem and others are probably jealous of missing a good publicity opportunity.

Another waste of space!

My point is that this outcome was inevitable once the club (or Ashton?) agreed to the visit.

It must have been known that they would manipulate things in this way. Was this not considered or discussed? That’s just naive!
Imagine the division now if we’d imploded and not gone up. I’ve said previously that Ashton is a lucky boy in this respect.

Now is the time to put pressure on the club to address this. I hear the argument that of 30,000 fans some will vote Reform but no party / movement should have been given the opportunity to use the club in such a divisive way.

Para 2 - you're OK with our club being used for fascist propaganda?

Para 3 - free speech view of your position.

I think you need to calm down mate, worrying about your mental state of mind.

Leaving aside the fact that Reform don't control IBC, it is interesting to note that many commentators have said that the state of "the High Street" is something that in particular attracts people to vote Reform.

But the decline of the High Street is a structural thing down to people buying things on the internet and not something that political parties can really affect.

Clearly you are in a deprived area

There is probably a helpline you can phone to get you to a better level of provision

I would think minimum 6 for a town size of Huntingdon

As I’ve said before you take a crowd of 30’000 people a fair few of those people will be Reform voters.

That’s if people like it or not. Some people won’t admit it either.

I wonder if Ashton played a blinder here, inviting the future PM of Blighty for a bit of nose bag.

FFS in what way is it a blinder, how exactly does this benefit the club? Those who either don't care (for obvious cock eyed reasons) or are hiding behind the tiniest shred of possiblity that it would be in the clubs benefit. What opposition is it the club have been facing in regard to any of our future planning plans? the council seems to have been nothing but on board with it at every step. It's a laughable proposition. The implication is also of course a level of future corruption, again why would that be great?

A definition from the internet of fascism is:

‘A fascist is a follower or proponent of fascism, a far-right, authoritarian, and ultranationalist political ideology characterised by a dictatorial leader, centralised autocracy, militarism, and the forcible suppression of opposition. It prioritises the nation or race over individual rights, promoting rigid social hierarchy and strict economic control.’

You are right. Democracy is the opposite of that.

Yes, as Hitler will tell you, there's absolutely no way that fascists take part in democratic elections.
