Why not? Seen something? I haven’t seen any of this “invasion” first-hand, so I’m reliant on mass media. They don’t seem to be shouting about it as much. Also, crucially, I don’t seem to be hearing about it as much from the person who was shouting about it the most, good old Nigel. Why wouldn’t you believe it? [Post edited 14 May 15:24]

| Starmer & political instability on 11:48 - May 14 by OldFart71 | I suggest you compare your energy bills to that in other countries. The cost of energy is costing industry. Vehicles using petrol or diesel will still be on our roads by 2040. Countries that produce oil and therefore grow their personal wealth won't stop pumping anytime soon. It is costing far more to import oil and gas than producing it ourselves. Farmers are being forced out of their farms by policies that mean importing more food from elsewhere whilst Mad Ed insists he's reducing pollution by shipping windmills from China and solar panels that are produced using coal fired power stations. It is madness to suggest global warming will stop with Mad Ed's policies. Whilst countries like America, China, India etc continue to pump greenhouse gases into the atmosphere and the pollution doesn't stop at our borders because of Millibands policy. |
You know the energy bills are high because our market connects them to fossil fuel prices and that the best way to break that link is to have our own cheap renewable energy?

Second time you've said this. Have you looked at the data that has previously been provided to you? SB [Post edited 14 May 15:20]

Disbelieving facts because you don't want to believe them isn't really an acceptable position for a grown adult to take, mate.

You can believe what you want but when you choose not to believe facts you might want to reflect on why you're doing that. As I said, it's not really an acceptable way for an adult to behave to simply refuse to believe something true because they don't want to believe it.

| Starmer & political instability on 04:11 - May 14 by Benters | I believe’No idea Kier’ is making a great job of ruining the country himself. He’s the most hated PM in British history, yet he still clings on to power, like a dodgy poo on the side of the toilet bowl after 5 pints of Ghostship and a curry. Starmer Out! |
On what metric is he the most hated PM? You make claims like a 3 year old

Why don’t you though? Did you see enough of the problem to believe the claims about the scale of damage “small boats” were directly doing to the country in the first place to believe them then? What’s different about data now?
