It was an absolutely baffling performance from Whittaker. Barely take anyone in. When he was one on one he ran at zero speed rather than attacking the space. Makes it so easy for a defender. Does he have no pace at all? And he also just took on ridiculous shots when he had time.
I wouldn't touch him in the champ to be honest. He's an average champ player who can have some decent moments as he has a decent shot on him. |  |

He was extremely poor, in every metric as well, way off it. Been injured though, maybe rushed back, probably just not fit.., he’s a very very good player, seen him play well a few times.
As for Muric, Ogbenne, McAteer, Walle then other fans must think we got drunk on resources and used a virtual wheel of fortune to do our recruitment.
He’s done great for Boro, watching them it’s hard not to see a couple of players that would easily improve us, Morris, Hackney, Fry .., and Whittaker is a better player than any of our wide right options. | | | |

That’s how he was at Swansea too, albeit he didn’t get many chances (for that very reason). He’s had 2 decent seasons in 6 or 7 years now and the rest have been really poor. I wouldn’t touch him either. He seems to need a perfect combination of conditions to be bothered/able to perform. |  |
