Saint-Maximim is probably earning 1/4 of that, on a short term deal at Lens. Don't get e wrong he would be a coup, and I don't imagine signing for Ipswich is high on his priority list, but surely its more realistic than Bowen if we put a big contract under his nose. | | | |

We do and as much as I'm a big fan of Hackney and is he deceptively good off the ball if you played in midfield his partner would need to ultra athletic.
I think a midfield 3 would be great with Azor breaking up play, get a proper runner in there and then a more technical midfielder.

I think Szmods and Ogbene will get lower fees - age / injuries harming their value a fair bit.
Humphries is probably worth that, but with only one year left (presuming we take his option) I don't think anyone will be paying that much for him.
Slicker will stay and be loaned much higher up the pyramid - he's shown that he's way too good for League 2. I still think he can make it here - genuinely has that potential but a keeper is a much longer game than an outfielder.
I'd bite anyones hand off for those fees for Akpom or Ali.

I could be wrong, but I think the point the poster is trying to make is that ASM is about as far away from a KM personality as you can get. Seems a tricky person to get on with an there tends to be a degree of controversy around him at every club he's been at.

Possibly right on Ogbene. I think Szmodics could / should command that, I think we wanted £4m in Jan. Shame he didn't do a little more for Derby really as that might've strengthened our position.
Ali has age on his side, he's had a really underwhelming season at Luton though and the challenge with him is where he's likely to go, probably L1 and there aren't loads of clubs there with deep pockets. Maybe Oxford, Matt Bloomfield clearly rates him.
Akpom is a problem. I can see a loan to a Birmingham or Wrexham, maybe Boro. Take the loan fee and get the wages off the books and hope he bangs in 20 goals next season. | | | |

Not aware of that, I thought he was really well liked at Newcastle and they all seem to speak fondly of him. He left Mexico because some of his own clubs fans racially abused his children, fair play to him on that I say.
