This is the ONLY fair outcome now .
Middlesbrough lost on the pitch, Southampton cheated
Both these clubs are now preparing to play Hull at Wembley ... but has anyone considered what a massive disadvantage this actually puts Hull - the one club who have won through fair and square at ?

They can't prepare properly for the game because they don't know who they're playing, i'm pretty sure they would adjust their team and their tactics for each opponent and at best they can only focus 50% on each possible outcome - how is any of this fair on them ?

cancel the final, kick both Middlesbrough and Southampton out and promote Hull

Boro will contest that the spying disrupted their match preparation for the matches, therefore may well have influenced the result - very difficult to deny that with any certainty.

The only side which is not impacted is Millwall.

I agree, they need to be kicked out, I’ve heard people say it had no impact on the result, but Southampton done it with the intention of getting an advantage, and that intent needs to be stamped out of the game.

Boro lost because they squandered loads of easy chances, just like they have been the last 2/3 months.

Agree. Just promote Hull.

In addition fine Southampton the equivalent of any moneys lost by the EFL for not staging the final and redistribute that money to the other FL clubs. Oh and a 20 point deduction for next season.

I dare say any advantage from spying only would have been of benefit for the first leg at best. Therefore let the 2nd leg result stand and replay the 1st.
