The Palestinian militant group Hamas attack on Israel on 7 October 2023 was horrific in its brutality and indiscriminate nature in who was murdered. There were many incidences of rape and unnecessary suffering committed before people were killed. This attack struck at the core psycologically of the Israeli people and provoked a completely disproportionate response by attempting not only trying to eradicating Hamas ( legitimate ) but the whole Palastinian nation ( not legitimate ). I would like to point out that The Civil Commission (formally: The Civil Commission on October 7th Crimes by Hamas Against Women, Children and Families) is an entirely Israeli organisation and that a member of the committee resigned due to the founder members use of photos from the Kurdish war and other false evidence. The point being that the horrific description of this atrocity may not be accurate and magnified to achieve greater revulsion which amplifies ( and justify) the Israeli response to said atrocity. | | | |
