Now the EFL have rejected Saints appeal and Boro or Hull will be promoted, are we likely to see Wrexham bring a civil case against Soton?
I don't think players suing the club for potential loss of PL earnings will fly, but I imagine Wrexham have a good argument to say they would have finished in the top six, if they can prove Saints spied during their winning streak from mid-January.
Similarly if Hull lose to Boro on Saturday, I guess they could bring a civil case against the EFL or Saints, saying they couldn't prepare for the final with any certainty until 2 days before the match.
It won't change who is promoted, but it could mean this runs and runs. The only winners in this will be the lawyers (and maybe Boro). |  | | |  |

It depends what comes out over the coming days and weeks. my guess is that there will be internal cleansing at Soton, and as part of that whistleblowers will say if there were more games that they spied on. There could also be evidence from card receipts for a Mr W Salt if clubs can get details (but its not a criminal act, so that may be difficult).
If it does emerge that more clubs were spied on, then I wouldn't be surprised if Wrexham sue - after all, they have ambitious American owners, so they won't be afraid of litigation. |  |

None of that will happen, there is no civil case for Wrexham to bring, and if Hull can’t prepare over 2 weeks for either of two potential opponents then how do they manage during a season when after playing on a Sat afternoon they have to prepare for a Tuesday. |  | | |

They would need strong proof. Which will be very difficult to obtain.
There obviously hasn't been anything concrete so far, otherwise it would have been included in the EFL's charges. Boro were fortunate in that the spy based himself at a golf club owned by Steve Gibson, so had access to some of the CCTV, witnesses and paper trail. |  |

That’s it. There’s surely better surveillance equipment freely available , than an iPhone! I keep thinking if Eastleigh is a regular training base for their opponents, then they’ll have a set routine of watching opponents there, Eastleigh themselves become an accomplice? Where do our opponents train pre game day? Do Stoke By Nayland golf club have those facilities? Belstead Brook Hotel never did. Kip, up, pre match lunch, game on!

That has been the implication I've seen and heard.
Also they lost at Oxford so didn't gain 3 points.
