Nope unfortunately not because I was only 13/14 at the time
Managed to do all home league and UEFA Cup games and the UEFA Cup Final with my Dad
A few away games thrown in there when locals in our pub were going and I gatecrashed with my parents consent |  |

Wow, you did well. I managed about half a dozen at home and the same number away. While there were good reasons for such a feeble effort (work and no £ mainly) I wish I’d seen more and appreciated the time more.
I never thought the good times would end. Trampling over the majority of teams had become normal years before. [Post edited 28 May 10:28]

I did a few, but was only a wee nipper. Old enough to remember scenes from various games, although I muddle them all up, so couldn’t say I remember a particular match, but I very clearly remember seeing the players, if that makes any sense. |  |

I managed all 21 away games almost by a fluke. I was working in the north-west and I signed for a local non-league team. I damaged both hamstrings in pre-season so I took a season out. City, United, Liverpool and Everton almost on the doorstep. Leeds not far away. 8 midlands teams @ £7 return on the train. 3 London teams at £11 return. Saints and Brighton was a bit of a tour with a home game at the end of it (trains and push bike). Friends in Newcastle so Sunderland and Borough (b*st*rds) were sorted. The manager of the club I'd signed for used to coach at Norwich and he sorted me a ticket but getting there was a ball ache. I took in 3 home league games in total plus Shrewsbury, Forest and City (at Villa) away in the cup plus AZ home and away (Amsterdam) in the Eufa Cup. A lot of games were played on a Saturday back then plus trains were largely reliable. Ive never managed anything like that since. | | | |

I just remembered I told you a lie. On the 20th September 1980 we were beating Coventry at home 2-0.
I was missing as was all my family at my wedding.

Hardly any for me. I spent 6 months of the year working outside the UK. And to make matters worse I was in Holland for the home leg of the final and back in Suffolk for the away leg!! |  | | |

I was 9 at the time and didn’t go to any of the games, however my grandad who got me supporting Ipswich in 1978. (he got me a FA cup final pin badge and rosette for the final)
He also spent time taking newspaper clippings of every Ipswich game then and put them in scrapbooks, of which I’ve still got them somewhere in my loft. Got photos somewhere of me in the black and white away kit holding a foil made UEFA cup. | | | |
