My point was and remains, that there was no need for that original post, other than to cause a discussion/argument that ends up forcing a narrative that everyone who doesn't agree with statements made on here are Racist, Homophobic, Facist, etc etc etc.
I don't believe there should be a straight month, a white month or any other months that are polar opposite to existing celebrations of sexuality, colour or faith. Saying that, importantly, I also believe it should be perfectly acceptable to not activiely support these groups when they hold their months.
Actively support being key here - not protest against, hold counter events etc etc.

don't repeat nonsense. the law, and it's interpretation, hasn't changed. the rights of these groups is no different from the rights of everyone else - which is exactly how it should be. attempts by activists to erode sex based rights have failed.
i've no idea what point you're making about the cass report - it was indeed independent, unbiased and research led - it's finding are shaping policy much more widely than just the uk. that children shouldn't be exposed to health care based on ideology rather than evidence is pretty basic in any civilised society. |

Not a hill I’m going to stay & die on, but personally I thought he did explain it on p1 (he thought the OP header was unnecessarily looking for an argument. Bloots & Who’s Blue kindly offered a solution and an alternative interpretation); then others seemed unnecessarily to confirm the “argumentative” tag.
As for Wavers being blamed for “continuing” the barney, can only say that on the occasions I’ve had similar in the past (thankfully not recently), I always stayed to reply to everyone (at least partly because otherwise I’d be accused of ”running away”)!  |
