(n on 16:25 - Jun 16 with 679 views | Marshalls_Mullet | I don't see why Rodgers would, he's generally thought of as a capable coach who plays good / attractive football. Dyche does what he does well, but I think would be a bad step.

I think he's the manager who'll give us the best chance of survival and least chance of being terrible and finishing the season on 7 points! I would give him a 3 year contract and by then I think he may have turned us into a safe mid table PL team, after that you say thanks and goodbye and look for a new manager who can take us to the next level

Me too, said it from the start, as a stable option he would be my #1.

He'd be firmly bottom of my list (of the names mentioned). Loves the sound of his own voice, always come across as having a huge ego to me. Plus he seems more interested in posting anti-modern football and anti-woke rants on social media these days anyway. It'd be as far away from a McKenna type as you could get, albeit I'm sure he's probably a good man manager.

(n on 18:20 - Jun 16 with 330 views | Swansea_Blue | Only if the definition of banter era is expanded to include competent (but very different) coaches. Rodgers has had 8 seasons in the PL and hasn’t finished below the credible 11th place he achieved with Swansea. Dyche more a bottom of the table manager but his record with Burnley was impressive if not exciting (bar their one good finish when they qualified for one of the lesser European cups). None of our banter era managers are fit to put out their cones.

I’d be happy with him here, more so than OGS or O Neil(who I really don’t want). | | | | Login to get fewer ads
