Yes, I wouldn't want to ban gambling but it needs to be heavily regulated.
There's a massive difference between putting a few interest bets on in person at a sporting event and having an app, probably multiple apps, to hand on a phone.
That the bookies go to great lengths to ban anyone to successful and keep encouraging the mugs is where the parasitism comes in. | |

But I find the way the whole industry is marketing itself nauseating. I hate the whole culture, the ads are almost all offensively cringe.
I'd rather go back to fags and booze being the source of most sponsorship, honestly. Let's kick betting back to the days of something you had to do in a smoke-filled shop alongside seedy old men, hoping nobody saw you going in. |  |
