Tactically abysmal. Playing with a back six when 1-0 up. It worked against Mexico and Norway but Argentina are a much better team. Enzo was having sighters throughout the second half. Lautaro was always going to come on. Defending that way gave Messi a free reign. Awful.

It is on England. For not being good enough. We beat Mexico through sheer grit and determination and with Bellingham and Pickford playing really good games. But Argentina were better than us all over the pitch. They out-muscled us and bullied us too. We went as far as we could but they were a step too far. The better side won fairly comfortably despite us taking the lead.
