Completely pointless match. No doubt some players we get rested so that the whole squad gets some time. Hate the thought of one of the teams going home having lost their last two games after what is supposed to be a relatively successful world cup campaign. If you lose badly it will feel like a poor tournament.

Why no 'The BBC say it is worth watching because Mbappé and Kane will be duelling for the Golden Boot but I'm hoping that Tuchel redeems his coaching credentials, finds a French weakness from corners for a big lad to nod one in so that Dan Burn scores ten and pips everyone to the trophy...' option ?

I do wonder if Kane and Mbappe will even play .. maybe come on as subs. Both coaches though of course will be looking to a victory for different reason’s… one redemption of sorts the other a farewell …, maybe both farewells It’ll definitely have the feel of a post/pre season friendly… quite open and the players looking to avoid injuries.
