The next in the conveyor of England players for Citeh to hoard, only to be ruined by rotting away on their bench?

A rich man’s Cole Skuse.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
Poll: With Evans taking 65% in Huddersfield, is the Banter Era over?

I think he'll be a key player once he settles in, perfect for them.

Spend a season learning from Rodri. Good for England too.

Poll: Would Lambert have acheived better results than Cook if given the same resources

I'm not convinced. He'll probably spend a season as Rodris understudy and then they just buy someone else, who'll be above him in the pecking order when Rodri goes.

Im trying to think of players who have become worse due to signing for City. Phillips? He was never good enough. Grealish? Injuries and poor attitude did for him. Not necessarily the club's fault is it?

Poll: Will you be watching the 3rd/4th place play off game?

Rodri only has a year left on his contract. He has been linked with Real Madrid quite a bit. I guess Anderson is the cover and eventual successor.

Anderson is too good to sit and rot

He’ll be instrumental at Citeh

IMHO he’ll become an even better player

Poll: Chances of a Town New Signing Announcement(s) Today ?

More evidence that Phillips was good enough at the point he moved than there is of Anderson being good enough now.

On injuries, kind of also seems to be the case that any moderately-serious injury in promixity to a transfer window at a club like City can just see a player immediately out of the pecking order and pretty much forgotten in a way that doesn’t happen at lesser-resourced clubs, no? Rodwell and Bridge are others that spring to mind who’ve been swallowed up in the machine.

You can see why though. They signed Trafford for approx £30m. Let's call it £35m with add ons and a sell on. Now looking like they are about to sell him for 45-50m. Players can go there, sit on their bench and appreciate in value doing very little.

I think you need to take a closer look at him. He is not rotting away in any stiffs team.

Could have cut and pasted this for Jack Rodwell and Kalvin Phillips...

Exactly, Phillips, the England player of the year 20-21!

Only thing I will say, is that now Pep's gone- it could be different? - he has gone, right? I never really got confirmation if that was the case or not, but I saw him linked to the Italian national team job on here the other day...

No, he is class. Different level to the likes of Phillips. The fee's are mental now I know but he is an excellent footballer.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?
