More evidence that Phillips was good enough at the point he moved than there is of Anderson being good enough now.
On injuries, kind of also seems to be the case that any moderately-serious injury in promixity to a transfer window at a club like City can just see a player immediately out of the pecking order and pretty much forgotten in a way that doesn’t happen at lesser-resourced clubs, no? Rodwell and Bridge are others that spring to mind who’ve been swallowed up in the machine. | | | |
