This season or never for him to go play and earn a stay next year.
Huge difference between u21 and where our first team is right now. He has players in his position in our first team huge mens football experience already and similar age profile (Fatawu 22 and Egeli 18 months younger than him at 20).
L1 full season needed and he will have to fight for starts at that level. |  |

He played men’s football in Belgium but it’s probably got a lot to do with him studying Classics at Oxford. Maybe that was the agreement with the club when he signed, so he could manage his degree better. But if he enrolled in 2023 he should be done by now | |

It's actually pretty depressing to think that a lad who always impresses on the highlights is nowhere near the first team. And if he did get a loan.... it'd probably be L2 or National League. I get it, though.... we've been promoted and we have to pull the bar up.
But it begs the question.... why even have an academy? Don't think we're selling our soul, but it just becomes a necessity to buy players in from around the world.... just to survive the PL. | | | |
