| Hims or other hair loss brands 10:38 - Aug 3 with 1191 views | Hackneyblueboy | Hey, does anyone have any experience using Hims or Manual or any of the other hair loss brands? By no means losing my hair aggressively yet but hair is definitely thinning progressively at crown and about to hit 40. Does anyone have any experience with using Finasteride or other non surgical products? Any good? Or should I just embrace it and go for a buzz cut! | | | | |

Really didn't get on with it - was essentially a sales-based pharmacy Booked in to meet with Maitland Clinic in Portsmouth - they put me on a path to actual success using a mix of Finasteride and Minoxidil Manual just want to push their most expensive products with no feedback other than occasional Whatsapp | |

For finasteride there’s no need to get a branded one, you can get generic pills on SimpleOnlinePharmacy equivalent. The Minoxidil I used was Regaine but I think you can get generic pills for that too now. I decided to stop using them because the much slower loss was just delaying a transplant. I use fibres in the meantime to cover up any visible loss whilst I wait for it to stabilise and I can get a transplant. (Mane, Nanogen, etc) If you don’t want to be bald ignore people telling you to embrace it. It’s not an inevitability, so no point giving up. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
