It's a crud level, made worse by gamesmanship and woeful officials.
Even Lambo in 2019 had the measure of that division early on, it was only when he started to try and game the games in hand system due to the internationals that he absolutely biffed it in that first season and threw away our advantage when we were winning ugly. I expect had we played a full season we'd have still finished in the top 3 at least, not because we were good mind, because the rest were so poor. After Covid he, and everyone else, checked out, so we were there longer than we really should have been, as bad as we were. |  |
