You’d think now that people are being affected more by extreme weather, there’d be a chance of more people being receptive to the need for stronger action to limit emissions to limit the worst consequences of Climate Change. You’d think anyway. I’m still not sure we’re there yet with the current support for oil and gas. Maybe it’s got to get worse before enough people ‘remove their heads from their arses’ such that the government feels they can take a stronger line without dropping in the polls (which seems the only thing they worry about)? |  |

People are already flopping into "It's too late to do anything about it." as an excuse to just carry on. Coupled with "Whatever we do is irrelevant compared with China anyway.", which is rubbish as the Chinese are converting to electric vehicles and renewables faster than almost anybody. |  |

Basically everything on fire for 3-4 months followed by under water for another 3-4 months , crop yield failures so food prices go up / supplies impacted, native species will suffer both on land and in the seas and critical infrastructure such as water and electricity supplies and transport links all impacted due to weather extremes.

Drive an efficient little car, and typically only a couple of times a week.
Try to influence other people to have a good hard look at themselves on social media.
Eat very little meat.
Fix, reuse and upcycle absolutely loads of stuff.
